Suspension of New User Registration and Departmental Library Function on the e-Learning Centre

A new electronic learning portal, namely Departmental e-Learning System (DELS), will be launched by the Department on 1 June 2026 to offer staff members enhanced learning services and experience in terms of system functionality, stability and security. As part of the system and service enhancement, the existing e-Learning Centre (eLC) will be subsumed under DELS. In order to allow smooth system migration of eLC to DELS, the following transitional arrangements will be implemented:

  • Registration of new users on eLC will be suspended as from 23 May 2026. New users can sign up on DELS after its rollout on 1 June 2026; and
  • Existing eLC users can still access eLC and browse the related training information and materials save for the Departmental Library function (i.e. reserving and borrowing library items), which will be suspended from 23 to 31 May 2026. With effect from 1 June 2026, users may resume access to the Departmental Library function through DELS.
